Yep!!! I thought I was a photographer because I had a snazzy red Nikon D3100 (oh god)

Taken with my little red Nikon. No clue about lighting, shadows, posing, nothing.
Josie modeling at Lightpro

but I really wasn't, lol!!! In September of 2015 my daughter Josie was signed up to model for Lightpro on Hilton Head Island. She was a minor so I needed to stay with her, I decided why not sign up for the Photography classes and put my time to good use. What the hell, why not? Haha. this is when I realized I was just another mom with a camera and that's it, nothing more. Attending Lightpro changed my life, I became obsessed with learning my camera, which was the smallest camera at the conference btw. I wasn't so cool standing amongst these photographers with all this cool gear and big freaking cameras. I met some awesome people that have become lifelong friends, mentors and just great people to be around. Photographers are really cool people and I think I fit right in, maybe I am just crazy but I just love the vibe, Love these peeps. Thanks Lightpro for helping me find what makes me happy. Stay tuned for more unless my life is boring you to death.
