Some of u may disagree with me but I don’t care. The best thing on a beautiful summer day is a delicious, yummy lobster roll. Today my daughter and I got into my litttle Mini Cooper, opened up the sunroof and headed to Newbury Massachusetts to search for driftwood. Driftwood? You ask, hehe. My oldest daughter to getting married next June and I’m trying to save money by doing my own table decor. This my friends is a blog post for a later date but I am finding out that weddings r not cheap and I must save money where I can, free driftwood at the beach, yes!! Back to the story, let’s recap, Mini Cooper, sunroof open, road trip tunes playing, headed to the beach. After Josie and I scored many many awesome pieces of driftwood and saw many more that were just not going to fit in my little Mini, but I did truly want to take them but I had to be realistic. Move on Gretch it’s wood, I’m pretty sure the people watching us gather all the wood thought we may be a bit nuts but who cares. If they saw what my plans r for the wood they would congratulate me for being frugal and creative. Back to the best summer treat ever, next to homemade ice cream that is, THE LOBSTER ROLL!! We stopped at Bob Lobster in Newbury Mass, we both ordered the avocado lobster roll which had fried avocado on top, so so good!! The place was packed and we now know why, the food was scrumptious, mmm mmm mmm!! So this my friends is one of the best things of summer, a bun stuffed with delicious, juicy, succulent, buttery lobster and the added fried avocado on top was the bomb! Is your mouth watering yet? Here’s to summer and living where the lobsters are fresh and right off the boat.🦞🦞🦞🥑🥑
