This weekend i actually put on real pants, not leggings and headed to Connecticut to learn from my friend and teacher Judy Host. Had a wonderful time shooting with some really fun photographers, no really!! They were fun,šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. I have to say that almost all the photographers Iā€™ve had the pleasure of meeting r very friendly and quite helpful then there r those few that you just learn to stay clear of, haha!! I mean hey!! Everybody has those days but some have them a lot more than others. Okay on to the post, my OCD is kicking in, look, bird! I admit I donā€™t have the best attention span but I make it work. So, the class took place in an elderly community, the wallpaper was not pretty but the food was cheap. We arranged and rearranged the furniture but there are just certain things u just canā€˜t move or remove, those things that seem to be in your way to get that really cool shot, damn!! In the past I have had those images of a beautiful model but oh look, whatā€™s that tree doing coming out of their head? i never really thought about it until years ago in Orlando Florida Judy told be to be more aware of the things behind the model. So this weekend I wanted this darn picture in front of this large window but every time I looked though the lens there was a big metal door frame shooting from her head, not pretty! So u move and u move again then u have the model move forward, no backward until, yes!!!!! Itā€™s still there but itā€™s okay, itā€™s not shooting out of the models head I can work with this. Yes I know that these things can be removed in Photoshop but for me this would be about a 6 month process and I still canā€™t guarantee that it would be gone. Iā€™m getting to know photoshop and know the basics but that is a big no for me right now. So the point to this crazy blog post is that u may not have the best place or set up to photograph your models but with some effort u can usually make it work. I am def not a pro at this and if anyone wants me to take images of them I will do my best to make sure nothing in the background is coming out of your head or shoulders. One more thing, the wallpaper was not pretty but with a change of outfit for the model it looked pretty good. Well Iā€™m off to read and learn more about this passion I have, till next time.šŸ¤Ŗ
